WELDYX transparent is a fast curing high-speed methacrylate adhesive.  WELDYX transparent is perfectly suited for applications which ask for a quick and reliable connection of materials of all kind.  The most plastics and most metals can be bonded in an almost invisible and permanent way.

Suited Materials:  Vinyl  •  PVC + Polycarbonate •  Aluminium •  Carbon + Stainless stell •  ABS + Acrylate (e.g. PMMA) •  Styrol plastics             •  Fiber reinforced plastics •  Polyester •  Urethane  •  Gelcoats

Working time:1 - 2 minutes;  Fixture time: 5 - 7 minutes;  Tensile shear strength:15 – 21 N/mm2 ( failure in joining parts);  Tensile strength:   13 – 17 N/mm2 ( failure in joining parts);  Exothermic peak:approx. 2 minutes;  Final strength:24 hours

Good resistance to: Acids and bases (pH 3 – 10);  hydrocarbon solvents ; Prone to:  polar solvents  and strong acids, and bases
