WIKO MS Polymer – Bonding and Sealing is a one-component, elastic, moisture-curing adhesive and sealant based on MS polymer. The product is applied to bond most diverse materials, to seal welds, overlaps and gaps. WIKO MS Polymer – Bonding and Sealing is set to medium viscosity and soft elasticity.

Application areas: Industrial and manual vehicle and bodywork construction, ventilation engineering, air conditioning, electrical engineering, apparatus engineering, metal working, sheet metal forming, plastics engineering, environmental protection and general construction. Sealing of welds, overlaps, gaps and cracks. Elastic adhesions of ledges, profiles, sheet metals, etc. Suited for quick sealing immediately before applying paintwork.

Application conditions: The product can be applied with good adhesion on a high number of materials, paint or vanishing systems, metals, glass, mirrors, ceramics and diverse plastics, without priming. The surface needs to be clean and free of grease and dust (use WIKO plastic cleaner respectively WIKO metal cleaner). Due to the high number of different surfaces, the adhesion quality should be determined by a performance test beforehand. 
Apply the material with a suited dispensing system and process the MS Polymer with the counterpart material within the skin formation time. The layer of the material should be adapted to the maximal expected strength. A fixture of the bond is recommended until the material is fully cured. The curing depends on the thickness of the layer, the temperature and the humidity. 
Clean unintended impurities of the working equipment immediately after usage with WIKO plastic cleaner (Item no.: AKSR.D500 or WIKO metal cleaner (Item no.: AMTR.D500).  The shelf life at ideal conditions (dark and dry) from +5°C to a maximum of 25°C in an unsealed original trading units

Restrictions: Not suited for PE, PP, PC, PTFE, PMMA, PS, neoprene, some ABS-types and bituminous surfaces, gaps under water, glazing and expansion joints. Not suited for direct contact with peripheral seal of insulation glass and laminated glass.  Not suited in combination with chlorides (swimming pool).  Not suited for natural stones and mirrors. Increased amount of UV influence may lead to different colours.  May become yellow by contact with chemical vapour or darkness. Permanent UV influence onto the adherent should be avoided. Not suited for glass bonding with permanent UV influence.
