WIKO MS Polymer – 2C Booster is a 2-component, accelerated, elastic and moisture-curing construction adhesive based on MS polymer. Its main application is bonding with a quick development of stability and a handling readiness after only 2 hours which makes the product especially suited for serial production. WIKO MS Polymer – 2C Booster is set to medium viscosity and firm elasticity.

Aplication areas: Industrial and manual vehicle and bodywork construction, ventilation engineering, air conditioning, electrical engineering, apparatus engineering, metal working, sheet metal forming, plastics engineering and environmental protection. Sealing of welds, overlaps and cracks. Especially qualified for the series production and elastic bondings of different material combinations (metals, plastics, glas, wood).  

WIKO MS-Polymer 2K Booster is not  suitable for the bonding of untreated polyolefin (PE/PP/POM), untreated fluoropolymer (Teflon) and bituminous materials. With sensitive substrates (PC, PMMA, SAN) preliminary test are necessary.

The values given are reference values and may vary according to adhesive layer thickness, temperature as well as air and material humidity.

Application conditions:The product can be applied with good adhesion on metal, glass, mirrors, ceramics and diverse plastics. However, the surfaces have to be clean and free of grease or dust. Please consider our chart that provides an informative basis for pre-treatment possibilities. Due to the large number of different surfaces, the adhesion quality should be determined by a performance test. 

Paintwork / Recoating:WIKO MS Polymer – 2C Booster can be easily recoated with lacquers based on acrylate dispersion paint. The adhesion is dependent on the composition of the paint. An optimal adhesion of the paint is achieved if the sealant is being coated within 3 days after its application.  Possibly longer drying time with usage of alkyd resin paint.  Due to the variety of paint and lacquer systems available, we recommend to carry out tests of the paint adhesion before the application.

Safety:Avoid longer contact with skin or food during curing of sealant. In case of contact with eyes, wash eyes with plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately.  Clean excessive material immediately after usage with WIKO Plastic Cleaner or WIKO Metal Cleaner  • Clean hands with soap and water
